AUGHRIM CHRIST­MAS MAR­KET Aughrim Pav­il­lion 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The reg­u­lar coun­try mar­ket takes on a Christ­mas theme, with Christ­mas cakes and pud­dings, free range tur­keys and mag­i­cal fairy doors all on sale.

CHRIST­MAS FARM MAR­KET Kill­rud­dery House and Gar­dens 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Your mouth will wa­ter when you see the wide range of ar­ti­san food prod­ucts, home­made pro­duce and lo­cally-grown vegetables on of­fer in the Grain Store and newly re­stored Horse­yard, while the car­ols and mu­sic will make sure you’re in a fully fes­tive mood as you browse­for that per­fect Christ­mas gift. Ad­mis­sion is free. Please note: Santa vis­its on this day are SOLD OUT.

SANTA VIS­ITS Glen­roe Farm 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come visit Santa by the fireside in the thatched cot­tage at Glen­roe Farm, where he will be joined by Mrs Claus, the Snow Queen and his loyal elves. Next door will be the Na­tiv­ity Sta­ble fea­tur­ing Saoirse the don­key, Leah the cow and Noddy the sheep, while there are plenty more an­i­mals to see in the Pets’ Cor­ner. Ad­mis­sion for chil­dren: €15 (in­cludes farm visit, Santa visit and gift from Santa) and en­try for one adult (ad­di­tional adults cost €5 each).

CHRIST­MAS STA­BLES Pow­er­scourt Gar­den Pavil­ion Sta­bles 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adults and chil­dren of all ages are wel­come to pay a visit the sta­bles, which is free of charge.

CRAFT Kus­tomKidz, FAIR Ark­low 11 a.m.to 5 p.m. The popular monthly Kuz­tomKidz Kraft Fair takes place with a spe­cial Christ­mas theme. An ar­ray of crafters will have a vast amount of hand made and unique goods on sale from cro­chet and knit­ting to art­work, can­dles and lace.

BRAY BEACH CHRIST­MAS MAR­KET The Har­bour Bar 12 noon to 5 p.m. Get your Christ­mas gifts sorted among the stalls boast­ing ev­ery­thing from hand-crafted wooden items and pet prod­ucts to skin care and knitwear. En­try is free.

SANTA VIS­ITS Town Hall, Bray 12 noon to 5 p.m. Take the kids to see Santa at the Town Hall and have an ex­pe­ri­ence to re­mem­ber. Mrs Claus will be telling sto­ries and Santa’s helpers will be busy in the work­shop. The ex­pe­ri­ence will last ap­prox. 40 min­utes and starts on the hour. SANTA DASH Ark­low Town Cen­tre 2 p.m. The fourth an­nual Ark­low Santa Dash starts from St Saviour’s Church and fin­ishes up at the park and Band­stand on Main Street where a Christ­mas mar­ket will be in full swing. There is no charge to take part in the dash which can be run or walked.

MRS CLAUS IN TI­NA­HELY Ti­na­hely Farm Shop 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. Mrs Claus re­turns to the Farm Shop where this year she will be in her kitchen bak­ing bread for Santa and telling the chil­dren sto­ries and tales about the great man him­self Santa Claus. FAYRE AND SANTA CABIN Donoughmore 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Take the trip to the Glen of Imaal to en­joy a fun-filled fes­tive af­ter­noon in Santa’s company. Crafts, cakes, toys and books are just some of the items that will be on sale, while there will also be out­door fun and games, a silent auc­tion and a raf­fle. Ad­mis­sion to the fayre is free while Santa vis­its cost €5.

JINGLE CELLS Wick­low’s His­toric Gaol 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. See the softer side of this his­toric gaol by bring­ing the chil­dren along to visit Santa, meet his helpers and view the spec­tac­u­lar fes­tive light­ing. As it’s Satur­day, vis­i­tors can also take pony and trap sleigh rides around the town. Tick­ets to see Santa – €12 per child; Santa visit with pony and trap sleigh ride - €15 per child (adults pay €5 for the sleigh ride).

A CHRIST­MAS CIN­DERELLA Mer­maid Arts Cen­tre 2 p.m. Tick­ets: €15 (con­ces­sion €12) or €45 for a fam­ily. WICK­LOW MALE VOICE CHOIR CHRIST­MAS CON­CERT Grand Ho­tel 8 p.m. A great night’s en­ter­tain­ment is promised fea­tur­ing a mix of old favourites and new tunes. The star guest will be vi­o­lin­ist Alan Smale, while choir di­rec­tor Bernard Geary and his daugh­ter Amanda will be giv­ing a very spe­cial per­for­mance. Tick­ets cost €15, with €5 from each ticket do­nated to the lo­cal St Vincent de Paul.

HAN­DEL’S MES­SIAH Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Bray 8 p.m. The Bray Choral So­ci­ety presents the Christ­mas clas­sic Han­del’s Mes­siah. A num­ber of ac­com­plished soloists will join the choir and the or­gan­ist on the night will be David Leigh­from St. Pa­trick’s Cathe­dral in Dublin. Tick­ets are avail­able at the door €15 (€12 con­ces­sion).

CHRIST­MAS PARTY Ash­ford Com­mu­nity Cen­tre 8 p.m. You will be en­ter­tained with some good mu­sic and songs. Tick­ets cost €10 at the door and you can also bring along your own bot­tle.
