CHRIST­MAS STA­BLES Pow­er­scourt Gar­den Pavil­ion Sta­bles 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adults and chil­dren of all ages are wel­come to pay a visit the sta­bles, which is free of charge.

LAKESHORE WON­DER­LAND Avon Ri, Bless­ing­ton 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Ad­mis­sion for chil­dren (one adult goes free, ad­di­tional adults pay €5) is €18 and in­cludes a visit to Santa, a gift and hot choco­late and full ac­cess to Santa’s Lakeshore Won­der­land. THE FOR­EST TRAIN AND CHRIST­MAS MAR­KET Avon­dale House and For­est Park 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tick­ets, which must be booked on­line at www.the­for­est­train.ie cost €15 for chil­dren, €10 for adults and €5 for ba­bies (0-12 months).

TWIRLTASTIC CRAFT FAIR Wolfe Tone Youth Club 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wolfe Tone Ba­ton Twirlers will hold this craft fair in­clud­ing stalls, tea and cof­fee, face paint­ing and much more. SPIRIT OF CHRIST­MAS FAIR Court­house Arts Cen­tre, Ti­na­hely 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The an­nual fes­tive favourite will fea­ture an abun­dance of hand­made crafts and Christ­mas spirit. Ad­mis­sion is free.

CHRIST­MAS IS­LAND Hid­den Val­ley Hol­i­day Park 11 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. Tick­ets, which must be booked in ad­vance at www.christ­ma­sis­land.ie, cost €15 per child and €12 per adult.

CHRIST­MAS FAYRE Val­ley­mount Com­mu­nity Cen­tre 11.45 a.m. Christ­mas cheer and fes­tive fun is on the agenda as you browse the great se­lec­tion of stalls sell­ing a va­ri­ety of goods. Of course, no Christ­mas fayre would be com­plete with­out a visit from Santa and he will be ar­riv­ing at 12.30 p.m. CHRIST­MAS TASTES, THEMES AND TOURS Russ­bor­ough House 12 noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

CHRIST­MAS FAIR Gle­nealy Hall 12 noon to 4 p.m. There will be over 30 craft stalls packed with ideas for great Christ­mas gifts at the next an­nual fair in the vil­lage hall. There will also be plenty of home bak­ing stalls and, of course, a visit from the man in red, Santa Claus.

OUT­DOOR CHRIST­MAS MAR­KET The park on Ark­low’s Main Street 12 noon to 5 p.m. The sec­ond day of this fundrais­ing mar­ket in aid of Ark­low Pride.

CRAFT Kus­tomKidz, FAIR Ark­low 12 noon to 5 p.m. The popular monthly Kuz­tomKidz Kraft Fair takes place with a spe­cial Christ­mas theme.

JINGLE Wick­low’s CELLS His­toric Gaol 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

WIN­TER WON­DER­LAND FES­TIVE DANCE DEMON­STRA­TION Grand Ho­tel 2.30 p.m. The Lisa Heenan School of Dance has in­vited ev­ery­one to come along to this fes­tive per­for­mance to see the tal­ented per­form­ers in ac­tion. Tick­ets will be on sale on the door. Ad­mis­sion: adults - €7; chil­dren - €5. WICK­LOW CHORAL SO­CI­ETY CHRIST­MAS CON­CERT Fa­tima Hall, Do­mini­can Col­lege 3.30 p.m. This fam­ily-friendly event will fea­ture a mix­ture of Christ­mas car­ols and read­ings, ac­com­pa­nied by Cor­muin O’Raghal­laigh and with a guest ap­pear­ance by the Kelly Fam­ily En­sem­ble. Any pro­ceeds from do­na­tions and a raf­fle will be do­nated to the lo­cal St Vincent de Paul branch.

CHRIST­MAS CAROL SER­VICE Ss Mary and Michael’s Church, Rath­drum 4 p.m. Soak up the fes­tive at­mos­phere at this carol ser­vice fea­tur­ing the parish choir, the girls and boys from

the lo­cal pri- mary schools and soloists Avril O’Toole and Liam Kin­sella.

CHRIST­MAS TREE LIGHTS Balt­in­glass Hos­pi­tal 5 p.m. West Wick­low Day Care Com­mit­tee will be switch­ing on the lights on their 25ft Christ­mas tree, which was erected in mem­ory of dearly de­parted friends and fam­ily. A carol ser­vice will also take place on the hos­pi­tal grounds.

CLAS­SI­CAL CHRIST­MAS CON­CERT St Mary’s Church, En­niskerry 7 p.m. Sadly, this con­cert, fea­tur­ing fa­mous tenor Ross Scan­lon, is now sold out.
