VISIT SANTA Glenroe Farm 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission for children: €15 (includes farm visit, Santa visit and gift from Santa) and entry for one adult (additional adults cost €5 each).

CHRISTMAS STABLES Powerscourt Garden Pavilion Stables 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adults and children of all ages are welcome to pay a visit the stables, which is free of charge.

LAKESHORE WONDERLAND Avon Ri, Blessington 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission for children (one adult goes free, additional adults pay €5) is €18 and includes a visit to Santa, a gift and hot chocolate and full access to Santa’s Lakeshore Wonderland. THE FOREST TRAIN AND CHRISTMAS MARKET Avondale House and Forest Park 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets, which must be booked online at www.theforesttrain.ie cost €15 for children, €10 for adults and €5 for babies (0-12 months).

CHRISTMAS ISLAND Hidden Valley Holiday Park 11 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.

CHRISTMAS FLOWER DEMO Russborough House 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Local floral designer Christine Hughes returns to Russborough to give some inspiration on how to create beautiful, seasonal floral displays for your home. Tickets: €5.

JINGLE CELLS Wicklow’s Historic Gaol 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Tickets to see Santa: €12 per child.

TWIRLTASTIC CHRISTMAS SHOW Shoreline Greystones 2.30 p.m. Come along and enjoy this twirltastic event presented by the talented members of Greystones, Kilcoole and Newtown Baton Twirlers. Open to all, it promises to be a great afternoon’s entertainment. Admission: adults - €7.50; children (under 12) - €5; family (two adults and two children) - €20.
