The Rathnew club man said addressed Convention and said he wanted to publicly thank a certain number of people who had worked “day and night” for the publication.
“”I’d like to thank the designer Seraphina, the man who is saying goodbye tonight like myself but a man who has been in the business for quite a while, Jackie Napier, and the man of all seasons, Jimmy Dunne.
“The amount of work that those people have put in to produce what we have here tonight, a prize-winning edition of the GAA in Wicklow for 2014. We won’t hold you up much longer but thank you to everyone.,” he added.
“Finally, on the question of the yearbook.
“It wouldn’t be a success only for you the clubs.
“If the clubs do not contribute there is no yearbook and this year we had a huge, huge contribution from the clubs plus a few individuals who wrote some articles and they were very much appreciated”.
