Holy Hour of Ado­ra­tion from 9pm to 10pm: You are in­vited to spend an Hour with the Lord with mu­sic, pe­ri­ods of si­lence and guided prayers of thanks­giv­ing and heal­ing this Wed­nes­day and next Tues­day.

Mon­day & Tues­day: Mass at 9.30am. Christ­mas Eve–Mass at 9.30am; Vigil Masses for Christ­mas–6pm Fam­ily Mass (Fam­ily Mass Choir) & 9.00p.m. Vigil Mass (Parish Choir). Christ­mas Day–Masses at 8.00am., 10.30am Men’s Choir) and 12.Noon (Gospel Choir). Please note that the Fam­ily Mass is on Christ­mas Eve. QOP YOUTH CLUB

It was a cold dry night when­forty-two mem­bers of the Queen of Peace Ad­ven­ture Youth Club set off along theCliff Walk from Grey­stones to Bray.

There were very few clouds in the Sky, andthe light from the moon was so bright that the walk­ers did not need to use­torches. With just a short mid-way break and re­fresh­ments the brisk walk tookjust one hour and ten min­utes. Lovely way to start the week­end.

DIV­ING CLUB

Bray Scuba Divers club are prepar­ingcel­e­bra­tions for their thirty years of div­ing. Dur­ing those years many peo­plewere in­tro­duced to the won­der­ful un­der­wa­ter world. Re­cently twenty six young­peo­ple learned snorkelling with some of the club in­struc­tors, and five of themhav­ing reached the age for scuba div­ing joined the club.

Next year the club­plans to re­peat the process, and train another group of young boys and girls.For Bray Divers the fu­ture is look­ing good.

Mem­bers of the Bray Cualann His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety, the lo­cal his­tory so­ci­ety for Bray and North Wick­low, are re­minded that James Scannell’s lec­ture re­call­ing ‘ Christ­mas 1914 in Bray ‘ will take place on Fri­day morn­ing at 11.30am in Bray Li­brary. All wel­come to at­tend. This is the fi­nal lec­ture in the So­ci­ety’s 2014 pro­gramme of lec­tures.
