CHRIST­MAS FAIR: Many thanks to Caro­line Kelly and The Par­ents As­so­ci­a­tion com­mit­tee for a won­der­ful job or­gan­is­ing the Christ­mas Fair. It was a lovely af­ter­noon of fun for all. Thanks to all the chil­dren and Par­ents for their support. Thanks also to Eibh­lin Kin­sella and the hall com­mit­tee for the use of the hall which is a won­der­ful as­set to have avail­able to the school.

To The Pet shop, Ti­nakilly House Ho­tel, Curves, Rath­new Chi­nese, Burke Oil, Tesco Wick­low, Malones Book Shop, The Vil­lage Food Store Rath­new, Burke Hard­ware, Stage Bratz, Healy Mini Mar­ket, Billy Rus­sell, Tracy Gre­gory , Kevin Jame­son Vil­lage Tyre cen­tre, Michael Collins Pharmacy , Cen­tra and Tubs sweets for their very kind do­na­tions and to Pop­corn Ire­land for the pop­corn sup­plied for the stall.

To all oth­ers who sent do­na­tions. Guess the name of Teddy “Co Co”- win­ner Ann Finnerty, Guess How many Sweets in the Jar “504” win­ners Peggy Vick­ers and Han­nah But­ler and Guess the Weight of the Cake 2Lbs 7oz clos­est was Kiva Jame­son 2lbs 1oz.

CHRIST­MAS RAF­FLE RE­SULTS: First place went to Claire Jame­son who won the €100 voucher, 2nd place the Roger and Ria Gre­gory who won the €75 voucher, 3 rd place went to Christo­pher Red­mond who won the €50 voucher, 4th An­gela Kennedy Slow Cooker, 5th Ann Gre­gory Bot­tle of Gin, lots of other win­ners: and 27th prize went to Evie Codd White. Thanks to all who kindly do­nated prizes. If we have in­ad­ver­tently for­got­ten and donor our sin­cere apolo­gies and please con­tact us en­try in next month’s news­let­ter.

CHRIST­MAS PLAY: This year Christ­mas Plays will be held in the hall on Wed­nes­day 17th De­cem­ber for Jnr and Snr In­fants will per­form “Hey Ewe” and 1st and 2nd class will per­form Baubles! start­ing at 1.30pm. On Thurs­day 18th 3rdand 4th class will per­form “Hosanna Rock” fol­lowed by,5th and 6th class per­for­mance of Goldilocks and the Three Bears by Roald Dahl start­ing at 1.30pm. All are wel­come! Thanks to Mr. Crow­ley and the Wood­work Depart­ment in Co­laise Chill Mhan­táin for turn­ing the beau­ti­ful gavel for the 5th and 6th class play.
