Niall on a €40,000 Win­ning Streak after mum buys him a scratch card

NIALL Roche from Bray has won €42,000 on last Satur­day’s Na­tional Lot­tery Win­ning Streak game show on RTE.

He was joined at the pre­sen­ta­tion of the win­ning cheques by Sinead Kennedy, Win­ning Streak game show co-host, Peter Plun­kett, Head of IT at the Na­tional Lot­tery who made the pre­sen­ta­tion and Marty Whe­lan, Win­ning Streak game show co-host.

The win­ning ticket was bought from Kate’s Cor­ner Cen­tra, Ve­vay Road, Bray.

Niall (38) is a soft­ware de­vel­oper for Capita IB So­lu­tions in Dublin.

His mother Mary bought the Win­ning Streak Scratch Card and gave it to him.

Niall has been go­ing out with his girl­friend Joan for four years.

His fam­ily sup­ported him at Win­ning Streak on Satur­day night, in­clud­ing mother Mary, and fa­ther Sean.

His sib­lings Bernard and Emer were also there as well as Bernard’s wife Michelle and Emer’s hus­band Dave.

Niall plans to put his Win­ning Streak win­nings to­wards home ren­o­va­tions.

Five play­ers from Gal­way, Wick­low, Mon­aghan and Tip­per­ary won prizes to the value of €264,000 last Satur­day.

The big­gest win­ner on the night was Mar­ian Keane from Tip­per­ary who won prizes to the value of €83,000. Win­ning Streak is on our screens ev­ery week­end.
