John Callan, President of the Enniskerry History Society, extends the compliments of the Season to members of the Society and their families, supporters and their friends, the local parishes, local history societies in the area, and the management and staff of the Powerscourt Arms Hotel, Enniskerry, where monthly meetings of the Enniskerry History Society take place.
The January 2015 programme of the Enniskerry History Society opens on Thursday January 15th at 8.30pm in the Powercourt Arms Hotel at which author and historian Liam Clare from Foxrock will present his lecture ‘ Loughlinstown Workhouse during the Famine Years ‘.
