John Cal­lan, Pres­i­dent of the En­niskerry His­tory So­ci­ety, ex­tends the com­pli­ments of the Sea­son to mem­bers of the So­ci­ety and their fam­i­lies, sup­port­ers and their friends, the lo­cal parishes, lo­cal his­tory so­ci­eties in the area, and the man­age­ment and staff of the Pow­er­scourt Arms Ho­tel, En­niskerry, where monthly meet­ings of the En­niskerry His­tory So­ci­ety take place.

The Jan­uary 2015 pro­gramme of the En­niskerry His­tory So­ci­ety opens on Thurs­day Jan­uary 15th at 8.30pm in the Pow­er­court Arms Ho­tel at which au­thor and his­to­rian Liam Clare from Foxrock will present his lec­ture ‘ Lough­lin­stown Work­house dur­ing the Famine Years ‘.
