STREETS OF WICK­LOW RUN East Glen­dalough School 11.30 a.m.

Inbhear Dee Ath­let­ics Club, with spon­sor­ship from Burke Oil, are host­ing this 5km road race and char­ity run on St Stephen’s day in aid of St Pa­trick’s GAA Club. A Kids Fun Run (for those un­der the age of 12) will also take place at 11 a..m. With a record en­try last year, the or­gan­is­ers will be hop­ing for a sim­i­lar turnout this year. Spon­sor­ship cards for the main run are now avail­able from Alan Lawlor of St Pa­trick’s GAA Club, while it costs €3 for a child to en­ter the fun run.

The spon­sored chip and snip dip will help raise money to­wards mi­crochip­ping and trap neuter re­turn.

RATH­DRUM RUGBY CLUB VER­SUS THE HOUND DOGS Rath­drum Rugby Club, 2 p.m. kick off

The long­est run­ning char­ity rugby game in the coun­try re­turns with the Hound Dogs do­ing bat­tle with Rath­drum. This an­nual ex­hi­bi­tion games has taken place ev­ery year since 1974. Sons of some of the char­ity game’s found­ing fa­thers will com­pete.

The popular lo­cal group re­turns for a spe­cial Christ­mas con­cert on St Stephen’s Night. Tick­ets, which are on sale from the venue, are €10.

INTERSKALACTIC The Martello, Bray 9 p.m.

The an­nual St Stephen’s night party at The Martello will fea­ture 10-piece Jamaican ska band Interskalactic.
