AS January sets in it seems that everyone wants to get fitter and healthier for the New Year.
For the general population it is recommended that everyone spends at least a half an hour a day or 3 and half hours a week engaging in some form of vigorous activity. This means taking the stairs instead of the lift, taking a basic walk up to a light jog, playing a game of football instead of on the Xbox basically anything that gets the heart pumping. Exercising typically isn’t difficult to get into, it just needs effort that comes from you. Our biggest piece of advice is to stop thinking about it, just do it! Start today, take that first step to a healthier lifestyle.

Have a plan before you exercise and stick to it Invest in good suitable training essentials (ie. Runners, Swimming Suits, bike etc) Indoor training for beginners to start off with can be quite beneficial as it allows you to train in a supervised environment Motivational Music Train regularly and train specifically (train specific to your individual goal) Stretch during and after exercise (post warmup and when you have finished your training) Stay Hydrated – Water, water and more water Rest and Recovery to allow the body to adapt and recover Chart your progress and your minor setbacks (your setbacks will teach you were to make improvements) So what are you waiting for?
