Trees are replaced
TREES at the Greystones Transport Interchange have been removed and replaced with cherry trees.
The engineer said that these should be more appropriate for the ground conditions there.
Cllr Tom Fortune said that he has received another call from a lady in Seacourt, Newcastle, wondering when a problematic tree there will be cut down.
Mr O’Hanlon said that they will be removing it this year. He said that they prioritise within a limited budget based on whether a tree might be dangerous.
