Congrats to all the students who brought in money for Crazy Socks day to raise money for Console. Special thanks to Rebecca O’Neill in TY and to her dad who is part of the team rowing to Wales to raise funds for this charity.

TRIP TO TINAKILLY HOUSE

The sixth year Home Economics students spent Wednesday afternoon enjoying Afternoon Tea in Tinakilly House. This was a follow up activity to a Food Studies assignment the students have completed for their Leaving Cert. In the assignment, they had to explore the popularity of ‘Afternoon Tea’ having led to an increasing interest in home baking and had to prepare and bake products suitable for serving at afternoon tea. The girls enjoyed sampling all the delicacies in the beautiful surroundings.

Thank you to their teacher, Ms Woods, who organised this very pleasant activity.
