Miss­ing man’s car found in Wick­low

Gar­daí are seek­ing the pub­lic’s help in lo­cat­ing a man whose car was found in Co Wick­low.

Pol­ish na­tional Marcin Micha­lak (35, pic­tured) has been miss­ing from his home in Maynooth since Sun­day, April 17. He was last seen that evening at a su­per­mar­ket in the town.

He is de­scribed as be­ing 5ft 9’ in height, of strong ap­pear­ance and he has a tight hair cut and a par­tial beard. When last seen he was wear­ing blue jeans, a black hoodie top with red writ­ing on it and beige walk­ing shoes. He was known to carry a small black back­pack.

Mr Micha­lak was driv­ing a Grey Mazada 6 car – 04 WX 203 – which was lo­cated by a rou­tine Garda pa­trol at Lug­gala, close to a for­est area and trails in the Wick­low Na­tional Park.

Gar­daí are con­cerned for Mr Micha­lak’s wel­fare and any­one with in­for­ma­tion or who may have seen his car are asked to con­tact Leixlip Garda Sta­tion on (01) 6667800, The Garda Con­fi­den­tial Line on 1800 666111 or any Garda Sta­tion.
