The Coolfancy Play­ers will present ‘Wake in the West’, a three act com­edy by Michael J. Gin­nelly, for three nights ; Thurs­day, Fri­day and Satur­day, May 19, 20 and 21, at 8 p.m. in Coolfancy Hall.

Di­rected by Noel Dal­ton, the com­edy is set in the 1980s on the out­skirts of a small west of Ire­land town and tells the story of a se­ries of un­for­tu­nate events sur­round­ing the wake of Tom Healy. A great laugh is guar­an­teed for all who at­tend.

Gle­nealy Tidy Towns have been ap­proached by lo­cal res­i­dents re­gard­ing peo­ple not clean­ing up af­ter their dogs. The foot­path in the vil­lage was cov­ered in dog poo last week, this is not only un­sightly but can also be a health haz­ard. Please cleanup af­ter your dogs and help keep our vil­lage and foot­paths clean.

The AGM of Ti­na­hely Com­mu­nity Sports Hall Ltd. will take place on Mon­day, May 23, at 8.30 p.m. in the com­mu­nity hall. The up­keep and main­te­nance of our hall de­pends on the com­mu­nity as a whole so please come along and show your sup­port. All are wel­come.

Meet­ings will take place on the first Wed­nes­day of each month at 7.30 p.m. up­stairs in the li­brary build­ing in Ti­na­hely. The cost is €5 per ses­sion in­clud­ing tea or cof­fee.
