CROSSBRIDGE FIELD DAY
Preparations are under way for this years Crossbridge Field Day which will take place on Sunday, June 5, at 2 p.m. in the new Parish Field. We have a number of new attractions for this fun family day out. We are also seeking new ideas for quirky fun for all the family. KILCOMMON NS FAIR DAY
The Coolfancy Players will present ‘ Wake in the West’, a three act comedy by Michael J. Ginnelly, for three nights ; Thursday 19th, Friday and Saturday, May 20 and 21, at 8 p.m. in Coolfancy Hall.
Directed by Noel Dalton, the comedy is set in the 1980s on the outskirts of a small west of Ireland town and tells the story of a series of unfortunate events surrounding the wake of Tom Healy. A great laugh is guaranteed for all who attend.
Tickets are €10 and are available from Coolboy Post Office, Coolfancy National School and cast members. All proceeds will go towards redecorating the hall.
TINAHELY WALKING CLUB
On Sunday, May 15, the walk as at Lugnaquilla (Grade A, 25k, All day). Meeting in Tinahely at 9 a.m. On Sunday, May 22, the walk is at Avondale, Rathdrum (Grade C/B 12k) Meeting in Tinahely at 10.30 a.m.

WARNING RE DOGS
Dog owners. To those that walk their pets on leash, a big thank you. To those that don’t please be aware you are endangering the future of the walks for the wider community. The Railway Walk and extension have a strict rule that dogs must be on leash and no dogs are permitted on any of the looped walks.
