CARNEW Ladies Foot­ball Club have ex­pressed a huge thanks to the busi­nesses of Carnew, who pro­vided the club with funds for new foot­balls and train­ing equip­ment to as­sist in pre­par­ing their teams for 2016.

“Through­out the win­ter and spring months, Carnew Ladies Foot­ball Club re­ceived very gen­er­ous do­na­tions from the lo­cal shops and busi­nesses,” said a club spokesper­son.

As a re­sult of the over­whelm­ing support shown to the ladies, they were able to in­vest in new foot­balls and train­ing equip­ment for each team and con­tinue to pro­vide a very im­por­tant sport­ing and so­cial out­let for mem­bers of the lo­cal Carnew and sur­round­ing com­mu­ni­ties.
