Hardy Har Com­edy Club set to wel­come Phil Kay

CO­ME­DIAN Phil Kay will per­form at the Hardy Har com­edy Club at the Har­bour Bar this com­ing Fri­day, May 27.

Scot­tish co­me­dian Phil Kay is a sea­soned stand up comic with a string of ac­com­plish­ments to his name, in­clud­ing the ‘Best Stand Up’ award at The Bri­tish Com­edy Awards, win­ner of Ed­in­burgh’s sta­ple com­edy com­pe­ti­tion ‘ So You Think You’re Funny?’ and a nom­i­na­tion for the most pres­ti­gious award this side of the big pond, the Per­rier Award.

Sup­port­ing Phil will be an­other top act in Ai­dan Kil­ian. Ai­dan is the mas­ter­mind be­hind ‘Com­edy at Anseo’ and has a string of ac­com­plish­ments on the com­edy scene on his re­sume. He has re­ceived not one but two 4 star re­views from Chor­tle dur­ing the Ed­in­burgh fes­ti­val, he has ap­peared at Voda­fone, Elec­tric Pic­nic and on a host of ra­dio and tele­vi­sion shows and his own shows (‘ Take The Red Pill’, ‘Je­sus Vs. Bud­dha and ‘Whistle­blow­ers’) have been de­scribed as a ‘Mas­ter­class in com­edy”

There will be more brand new faces, with reg­u­lar host Adam Burke as­sum­ing his usual role of MC and all the quirk­i­ness, fun and homely vibes of ‘ The Best Bar in the World’ (Lonely Planet).

Doors open at 9 p.m. and ad­mis­sion is free.
