Clare O’Connor had a very good first night on Monday, May 16, when she took joint first place for North/South with her partner Gaye MCgettigan sharing first place with Clare and Gaye were Paddy O’Brien and Catherine McGillycuddy while Margaret Byrne and Triona Woodroofe were third. First for East/West were the Kennedys Seamus and Magdaleen, Clare Sally and Pamela Byrne were second and Derek Neilson and Mary Pierce were third.
