Al­pha/In-Be­tween Book Club: The book for dis­cus­sion and re­view for next Tues­day night’s meet­ing will be ‘The Dress­maker’ by Ros­alie Ham.

Rath­michael Parish and School Fete: This will take place on Satur­day, Septem­ber 3, from midday to 4 p.m. This is an ‘ad­vance no­tice’ so that ev­ery­one can mark the date in their di­aries. If you have any ideas for new stalls please let us know, and as in other years, all of­fers of help will be gladly ac­cepted – Mark Thorn­burgh, Chair­man Fete Com­mit­tee.


Mass Times: Mass is cel­e­brated in St Anne’s Church at 10 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. Mon­day to Fri­day, (ex­cept Au­gust and Septem­ber). Week­end Mass times are Satur­day 6.30 p.m. Vigil Mass and on Sun­day at 8 a.m., (9 a.m. in St Patrick’s Church in St Colum­cille’s Hospi­tal), 10.30 a.m. (Fam­ily Mass), midday, and 6 p.m.

Exam Mass: The Exam Mass for stu­dents sit­ting Col­lege Ex­ams, Leav­ing Cert and Ju­nior Cert will be on Sun­day, June 5, at 6 p.m. We would like to in­vite all stu­dents to this Mass.

UAC Monthly Meet­ing: The monthly meet­ing of the Union will take place in St Anne’s Re­source Cen­tre this Mon­day at 8 p.m. led by Fr Eamonn.

Ad­vanced No­tice – Ado­ra­tion of the Most Blessed Sacra­ment: The UAC are hold­ing Ado­ra­tion of the Most Blessed Sacra­ment from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the 22nd of ev­ery month be­gin­ning in June. This is a world­wide ini­tia­tive by the Pal­lot­tine Fam­ily to pray for vo­ca­tions to the Priest­hood and the Re­li­gious Life. For fur­ther in­for­ma­tion con­tact Pat Maguire at 087 7532780.

First Holy Com­mu­nion: We hold in our prayers the chil­dren from Mr Don­nelly’s Class, St Anne’s, will re­ceive their First Holy Com­mu­nion this Sun­day at 10.30 a.m. Fam­ily Mass. We wish them and their fam­i­lies ev­ery bless­ing.

Mem­bers of the Rath­michael His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety, the lo­cal his­tory so­ci­ety for Shankill, Bally­brack/Killiney and sur­round­ing area, are in­vited this morn­ing’s (Wed­nes­day) ‘Morn­ing Open Meet­ing’ of the Ge­nealog­i­cal So­ci­ety of Ire­land which takes place be­tween 10.30 a.m. and 12, 30 p.m. in Hardy’s Bar, The Royal Ma­rine Ho­tel, Ma­rine Road, Dun Laoghaire, and Fri­day’s 2 p.m. 60-minute talk in Bray Li­brary, Eglin­ton Road, Bray, by Brian White on ‘Ge­neal­ogy Records/ Fam­ily Records’. All wel­come – ad­mis­sion free.
