Rathmichael Parish and School Fete: This will take place on Saturday, September 3, from midday to 4 p.m. This is an ‘advance notice’ so that everyone can mark the date in their diaries. If you have any ideas for new stalls please let us know, and as in other years, all offers of help will be gladly accepted – Mark Thornburgh, Chairman Fete Committee.

Mass Times: Mass is celebrated in St Anne’s Church at 10 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, (except August and September). Weekend Mass times are Saturday 6.30 p.m. Vigil Mass and on Sunday at 8 a.m., (9 a.m. in St Patrick’s Church in St Columcille’s Hospital), 10.30 a.m. (Family Mass), midday, and 6 p.m.
Exam Mass: The Exam Mass for students sitting College Exams, Leaving Cert and Junior Cert will be on Sunday, June 5, at 6 p.m. We would like to invite all students to this Mass.
UAC Monthly Meeting: The monthly meeting of the Union will take place in St Anne’s Resource Centre this Monday at 8 p.m. led by Fr Eamonn.
Advanced Notice – Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament: The UAC are holding Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the 22nd of every month beginning in June. This is a worldwide initiative by the Pallottine Family to pray for vocations to the Priesthood and the Religious Life. For further information contact Pat Maguire at 087 7532780.
First Holy Communion: We hold in our prayers the children from Mr Donnelly’s Class, St Anne’s, will receive their First Holy Communion this Sunday at 10.30 a.m. Family Mass. We wish them and their families every blessing.
Thank You: We would like to thank everyone involved in preparing and partaking in our recent Pentecost Celebration. It was great to see so many of our community groups represented proving how vibrant the Community Spirit is in Shankill.

The June First Saturday Book Sale will take place on Saturday, June 4, in the Shankill Old Folks Association Day Centre, Lower Road, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Members of the Rathmichael Historical Society, the local history society for Shankill, Ballybrack/Killiney and surrounding area, are invited this morning’s (Wednesday) ‘Morning Open Meeting’ of the Genealogical Society of Ireland which takes place between 10.30 a.m. and 12, 30 p.m. in Hardy’s Bar, The Royal Marine Hotel, Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire, and Friday’s 2 p.m. 60-minute talk in Bray Library, Eglinton Road, Bray, by Brian White on ‘Genealogy Records/ Family Records’. All welcome – admission free.
