Public Participation Network to host seminar on housing
THE Wicklow Public Participation Network (PPN) is holding a seminar on housing for community groups and organisations.
The seminar, Let’s Talk about Housing, is open to community groups, organisations and people with an interest in housing issues in the county.
Speakers on the day include representatives from Wicklow County Council, the Simon Community and Ó Cualann Cohousing Alliance.
Co Wicklow PPN will then use the information and discussions to inform the PPN Representatives that sit on the Wicklow County Council Strategic Policy Committees.
The seminar will take place on Saturday June 11 in the Hillside Church Hall, Greystones, opposite the old Xtra Vision store. Registration is from 9.30 a.m. and the seminar will start at 10 a.m. sharp running until 1.30 p.m. when a light lunch will be served.
Booking is highly recommended and can be done by contacting Helen by email at email@example.com or by telephone at 087 189 5145.
The July seminar will focus on the protection, maintenance and sustainability of our natural waterways and surrounding areas for the ecological and recreational benefit of this and future generations.
County Wicklow PPN was established in 2014 to act as an information hub for community groups and organisations and to provide a structure to enable the community voice to be heard at local decision making tables.
