A Bray independent election candidate has put forward plans for the creation of an international gambling casino in Bray.

28 year old Tom Prendiville says that he has held discussins with potential European and American backers of the venture, and claims that with a 51 per cent share-holding, the project could earn Bray EDC a seven million pound profit each year, and create up to 250 jobs.

An urban council election candidate who describes himself as a journalist, inventor and film producer, he has also drawn up plans to rebuild the town and plant 700 new trees a year, to convert the Carlisle Grounds into a top class sporting facility, to build 300 new council houses over the next four years, and to establish Bray as a venue for an international rock festival each year.
