Bray People - - NEWS -

The promoters of a multi million pound marina development for Greystones Harbour were preparing to drop a controversial key element in their plan, it was claimed this week.

A major housing development which was mooted in original marina plans for the town has been removed, according to Voice of Wicklow Cllr George Jones, who said that this action would make the scheme ‘far more environmentally friendly to this very scenic location’.

Cllr Jones predicted that a planning application for the project would be received by Wicklow County Council in the near future, and said that the decision to drop the development of housing on the lower slopes of bray Head would be welcomed by many people.
