This Saturday’s Summer Garden Fete: The Christ Church, Bray, Summer Garden Fete will take place in the church grounds this Saturday from 10.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and is a great fun filled family event. There will be a terrific array of stalls to chose items from so make a point of calling into this event during the morning as you never know what you might find.
HOLY REDEEMER PARISH
Exam Prayer Wall: If you know anyone who is sitting the State Exams this year and would like them included in our masses please write their name on a ‘post it’ (which is supplied) and
place it on the Exam Prayer Wall. All those named on this wall will be included in the Prayers of the Faithful at Masses coming up to and during the exams.
Exam Prayer Cards: Prayer cards are available for students and those who wish to pray for them. Take a multi-coloured prayer card if you are a student sitting the exams or if you wish to give/send one to a student. Take a purple prayer card if you would like to pray for someone.
Exam Mass Bouquet Cards: If you would like to give the gift of a mass card for someone doing exams, there are a small number of cards available in the Office.
Date For Your Diary: This year the Holy Redeemer Feast Day will be held on Sunday, July 3,. On that day the 10.30 a.m. and midday Masses will be amalgamated for a special celebration at 11 a.m. This will be followed by refreshments in the Little Flower Hall/Church Grounds/Garden. Let’s all come together to celebrate our Feast Day. Further details to follow

Mass Celebration and Dedication of our New St Anthony Room and outdoor Grotto in honour of Our Lady: Archbishop Diarmuid Martin DD has kindly agreed to celebrate Mass here in St Fergal’s on Sunday, June 19, at 10.30 a.m.The construction of the Meeting Room and Grotto were made possible by the generosity of the parishioners in contributing to the Living the Joy of the Gospel Campaign. QOP YOUTH CLUB
Queen of Peace Adventure Youth Club members recently enjoyed a paddle boarding session in addition to the usual canoeing and body boarding. The paddle boards and instruction was given by John McNulty of Bray Adventurers. Nine junior snorkelers are training on Wednesdays, and they expect to gain certificates within the next 10 weeks. Older members organised a social evening facilitated by Ciara Larkin. Later in the month there will be a climb on Snowdon Mountain in Wales. The club is functioning very well with their dedicated committed leaders.
Bray Divers had a historic week as Mr Sean Quirke handed them the keys of their new club building in Greystones Harbour. The club was founded 33 years ago and now has members from Greystones, Kilcoole, Bray, and Dublin. It was a momentous occasion which will be celebrated when the building is fitted out. Diving in Portroe Slate Quarry was carried out with divers Brendan, Ann, Jack, Louis, Jonathon, and Albert. Dives were down to 25 metres in the clear cool quarry water.

The Alzheimer’s Café in Kilruddery House and Gardens is a relaxed place where people with dementia, their families and friends and health and social care professionals come together on the last Thursday of each month (2.30 p.m. to 4 p.m.) for education and support over a cup of tea.
