SHEILA’S SUM­MER CAMP

Sheila’s first week of Com­mu­nity Games sum­mer camp will be on Mon­day, July 18, to Fri­day, July 22, from 10.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., sec­ond week is on Mon­day, Au­gust 8, to Fri­day, Au­gust 12, from 1.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. Cost per child is €50. GYMBOREE

Gymboree Play and Mu­sic Classes con­tinue on Tues­days at 11 a.m. in Glenealy vil­lage Hall. Teach your child a love of mu­sic through songs, dance, move­ment games and mu­si­cal in­stru­ments. TIDY TOWNS

Glenealy Tidy Towns have been ap­proached by lo­cal res­i­dents re­gard­ing peo­ple not clean­ing up after their dogs. The foot­path in the vil­lage was cov­ered in dog poo last week, this is not only un­sightly but can also be a health haz­ard. Please cleanup after your dogs and help keep our vil­lage and foot­paths clean.

IR­ISH DANC­ING CLASSES

Ir­ish danc­ing classes with Brenda (The McLough­lin School Of Dance) con­tinue in Glenealy Vil­lage hall ev­ery Thurs­day night from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.

SATUR­DAYS PLAY­GROUP

The Satur­days play­group is in Glenealy Vil­lage Hall ev­ery Saturday morn­ing from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., Fun play for pre school chil­dren and up. cost €3 per fam­ily.

FUN DAY CAN­CELLED

the newly opened ‘ Avon­more Way’. Start­ing at ‘ The Stump’, walk­ing to Laragh and con­clud­ing with a Prayer in St Kevin’s Church, Laragh. Bring a Packed Lunch. Bus will be pro­vided to bring peo­ple back to Rath­drum after the event. Cost is €3.

30TH AN­NIVER­SARY

A Mass will be cel­e­brated on Wed­nes­day, June 15, at 9 a.m. in Rath­drum Par­ish Church to mark the 30th an­niver­sary of Fr Derek Doyle’s Or­di­na­tion. All are wel­come to at­tend. There will be no Mass in St Colman’s Hos­pi­tal on that Wed­nes­day, June 15.

END OF YEAR SHOW

Our Lady’s Girl’s School, Rath­drum End of Year Show will take place on Thurs­day, June 16, in Avon­dale Sports Com­plex at 7 p.m. All girls from the School will be per­form­ing on the night. There will be a Raf­fle with a host of lovely prizes. Re­fresh­ments will be avail­able. Also we en­cour­age as many peo­ple as pos­si­ble to come along and sup­port the Girls for this pre­sen­ta­tion. Tick­ets cost €10, adults and chil­dren €2 which are avail­able from the School.
