Eileen Horan is a member of the general committee and was manning the stand.

They hoped to bring awareness of the group into the local area.

Mark Kinghan was also there on the day. He is a Greystones Cancer Support acupuncture therapist.

He also took a group of people for a session in qigong which is a way of helping people to relax the body both physically and mentally.

It is very successful as a therapy for people going through a difficult time.

The event was hosted by Monika Nowakowska Purcell and the Healthy Ever After Group.

The purpose of the day was to showcase and promote the many alternative health practices in the community and the natural products available in the area.

Therapists were on hand to provide sample, mini treatments at low cost for the visitors on the day.

The expo was an opportunity to network, engage with new customers and support Greystones Cancer Support, Irish Osteoporosis Society and Greystones South Beach Playground appeal.
