On that day the 10.30 a.m. and mid­day Masses will be amal­ga­mated for a special cel­e­bra­tion at 1 a.m. This will be fol­lowed by re­fresh­ments in the Lit­tle Flower Hall/Church Grounds/Gar­den. Mass Cel­e­bra­tion and Ded­i­ca­tion of our New St Anthony Room and out­door Grotto in hon­our of Our Lady This Sun­day: Arch­bishop Diar­muid Martin DD has kindly agreed to cel­e­brate Mass here in St Fergal’s this Sun­day at 10.30 a.m. The con­struc­tion of the Meet­ing Room and Grotto were made pos­si­ble by the gen­eros­ity of the parish­ioners in con­tribut­ing to the Liv­ing the Joy of the Gospel Cam­paign. All are Wel­come.

St Fergal’s Par­ish Fete: Will take place this Saturday in St Fergal’s Na­tional School. Ap­peal for Do­na­tions – Do you have any items you would like to donate to the stalls?


70th Birth­day Cel­e­bra­tions: A special meet­ing will be held next Monday night at 7.30 p.m. in the Villa Pacis to plan for our 70th cel- ebra­tion which will run from Saturday, De­cem­ber 17, till Sun­day, De­cem­ber 17,2017. If you have ideas both spir­i­tual and so­cial, please come along.

Ceme­tery Sun­day: The Springfield Ceme­tery Mass of Re­mem­brance and Bless­ing of the Graves will take place this Sun­day at 2.30 p.m.

Lour­des 2016: Our an­nual Lour­des pil­grim­age will take place from Septem­ber 7 to Septem­ber 12. Book­ing through the Par­ish Of­fice Monday, Tues­day, Thurs­day and Fri­day morn­ings only. Price €719. Please see posters in Church porches. Our re­cent door col­lec­tion raised €2,025.Thank you for your gen­er­ous sup­port.


Queen of Peace Ad­ven­ture Youth Club are hav­ing a very busy sum­mer time. Apart from their nor­mal weekly wa­ter sports the fol­low­ing is be­ing or­gan­ised, a climb on Snow­don Moun­tain, a visit to Clara Lara Fun Park, Vik­ing Splash, and a morn­ing on Dalkey Is­land. With the ex­pand­ing pro­gramme more par­ents are be­gin­ning to get in­volved with the club. Ca­noe in­struc­tors are needed, so if any in­struc­tor has a cou­ple of hours to spare their as­sis­tance would cer­tainly be ap­pre­ci­ated. Call Al­bert at 087 6756439 for de­tails.


Bray Divers Sub-Aqua Club is cur­rently train­ing seven young boys and girls un­der the age of thir­teen to snorkel dive. This is the first time the club has un­der­taken train­ing for such a young group. In ad­di­tion to lec­tures and pool train­ing four sea train­ing snorkels have taken place. Judg­ing the suc­cess of this ven­ture to date the club ad­vise that it may be­come an an­nual event. Bray Library Open­ing hours for Bray Library, Eglin­ton Road, Bray, are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wed­nes­day, Fri­day and Saturday and 1 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Tues­day and Thurs­day. The next event for mem­bers of the Bray Cualann His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety, the lo­cal his­tory so­ci­ety for Bray and North Wick­low, is this Saturday’s 2.30 p.m. lec­ture by Bill Ful­ton on ‘The Royal New­found­land Reg­i­ment’ to the Western Front As­so­ci­a­tion (Dublin Branch) in the Mu­seum of Dec­o­ra­tive Arts and His­tory Lec­ture Theatre, Collins Bar­racks, Ben­burb Street, Dublin 7.All wel­come –€3 do­na­tion ap­pre­ci­ated.
