Resource Centre Hours: St Anne’s Resource Centre is open 9 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. Monday to Thursday and on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those requiring Baptism/Confirmation certificates or application forms for Baptism can obtain them during the above hours. Please note that the Parish Office is the only place where certificates and application forms can be processed.
Mass Times: Mass is celebrated in St Anne’s Church at 10 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, (except August and September). Weekend Mass times are Saturday 6.30 p.m. Vigil Mass and on Sunday at 8 a.m., (9 a.m. in St Patrick’s Church in St Columcille’s Hospital), 10.30 a.m. (Family Mass), midday, and 6 p.m. Confessions are heard on Saturdays after the 10 a.m. Mass, between 12.30 p.m. and 1 p.m., and after the 6.30 p.m. Mass. Mass is now broadcast on-line and can be viewed by logging onto the parish website: stannesparishshankill.com and then clicking onto video link.
Baptism Times: Baptisms take place in St Anne’s Church at 1 p.m. on the first Sunday of the Month and at 5 p.m. on the second and fourth Saturdays of the Month. A month’s notice is required. Please contact the St Anne’s Parish Office located in St Anne’s Resource Centre to make your arrangements. Please note that when visiting the Parish Office to arrange a baptism, the child’s birth certificate should be brought as it necessary to photo- copy it for the parish records but it will be returned immediately.
Pre Baptism Meetings: Pre Baptism Meetings are held on the last Thursday of every month for parents presenting their children for Baptism the following month.
Sacred Choir: In preparation for our Fathers Day Mass at 6 p.m. this Sunday, rehearsals for the Secret Choir will be at 8 p.m. in the church tonight (Wednesday).
Advanced Notice from the UAC – Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament: The UAC are holding Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the 22nd of every month beginning in June. The July First Book Sale, which supports the Shankill Old Folks Association and meals on Wheels, will take place on Saturday, July 2, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Shankill Old Folks Association Day Centre, Lower Road, Shankill, Co. Dublin. There will be the usual excellent selection of books to choose from so make a point of calling in the book sale during that morning and pick up some excellent reading material for the Summer. Donations of books, other than school/text books, accepted on the day.
