The Citizens Information Bus will be at a number of locations in the area in the coming weeks.

As part of Entitlements Awareness Week, the bus will be bringing a mobile information and advice service into the heart of local communities.

The idea is to reach out to people who may not normally have easy access to information services.

The bus will be at Lidl in Bray on Friday, June 24, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; at Bray Civic Centre on Tuesday, June 28, from 9 a.m. to 12 midday, and also on Tuesday, June 28, at Tesco in Greystones from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

On Wednesday, June 29, it will be at St Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and at Bray Civic Centre from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. On Thursday, June 30, it will be at Lidl, Greystones, from 8 a.m. to 12 midday.

Anybody can come on board to get free and confidential information and advice on their rights and entitlements from skilled information providers from Bray Citizens Information Centre and staff from Bray Area Partnership’s Local Employment Service and Arklow MABS in selected locations. ‘Because of ongoing changes to services and schemes it’s vital that people can get information on their rights and entitlements”, said Martina Cronin, Co Wicklow Citizens Information Service. Subjects include personal finance, debt, employment rights, services and more.
