Fun ice cream day held at Sun­beam House

Sun­beam House held an ice cream day in Bray re­cently in aid of Down Syn­drome Ire­land.

This was part of the na­tion­wide HB Ice Cream Fun­days Cam­paign.

Homes, neigh­bour­hoods, groups and or­gan­i­sa­tions all over the coun­try have been hold­ing ice cream par­ties in aid of this wor­thy cause.

HB have sent every­one tak­ing park a pack to make their party even more en­joy­able, in­clud­ing posters, in­vi­ta­tions, bal­lons, and vouch­ers for HB Hazel­brook Farm ice cream.

Down Syn­drome Ire­land pro­vides a voice for peo­ple with Down Syn­drome and their fam­i­lies.

The or­gan­i­sa­tion is ded­i­cated to be­ing the pri­mary source of in­for­ma­tion and sup­port t peo­ple with Down syn­drome, their fam­i­lies, and the pro­fes­sional com­mu­nity, work­ing to­wards an im­proved qual­ity of life for mem­bers. They are fo­cussed on re­spect for and ac­cep­tance of peo­ple with Down syn­drome as val­ued mem­bers of Ir­ish so­ci­ety.

The vol­un­tary or­gan­i­sa­tion has 25 branches around the coun­try, and in the re­gion of 3.500 mem­bers.
