CFR certificates

Bray People - - COMMUNITY NEWS -

As reported earlier this year, Kilmacanogue National School received a defibrillator from our local Kilmacanogue CFR group with proceeds of all funds raised locally. This week, sixth class students enjoyed AED and CPR training with the group and are now proficient in this life-saving skill.

All students received a certificate, a booklet and book marker in thanks for their commitment to the training provided.

A big thank you to the school staff and especially Principal Geraldine Kelly and class teacher Ms Redmond for their support and hospitality.

It’s hoped that this life skill training for sixth Class Sudents will be an annual event so all can be confident going forward of it growing in our community. If any other groups or individuals would like to learn these lifesaving skills including infant CPR or brush up on training they have received in the past and become familiar with the 2016 guidelines, Kilmac CFR would be delighted to help and for further information, please contact; kilmacanoguecfr@gmail.com @kilmaccfr on twitter or just text (Kilmac cfr info) to 087 2060383.
