Exam Prayer Wall: If you know any­one who is sit­ting the State Ex­ams this year and would like them in­cluded in our masses please write their name on a ‘post it’ (which is sup­plied) and place it on the Exam Prayer Wall. All those named on this wall will be in­cluded in the Prayers of the Faith­ful at Masses com­ing up to and dur­ing the ex­ams.

Exam Prayer Cards: Prayer cards are avail­able for stu­dents and those who wish to pray for them. Take a multi-coloured prayer card if you are a stu­dent sit­ting the ex­ams or if you wish to give/send one to a stu­dent. Take a pur­ple prayer card if you would like to pray for some­one.

Exam Mass Bou­quet Cards: If you would like to give the gift of a mass card for some­one do­ing ex­ams, there are a small num­ber of cards avail­able in the Of­fice.

Date For Your Di­ary: This year the Holy Redeemer Feast Day will be held on Sun­day, July 3. On that day the 10.30 a.m. and mid­day Masses will be amal­ga­mated for a spe­cial cel­e­bra­tion at 1 a.m. This will be fol­lowed by re­fresh­ments in the Lit­tle Flower Hall/Church Grounds/Gar­den. Let’s all come to­gether to cel­e­brate our Feast Day.

Lour­des Pil­grim­age Septem­ber 16 to Septem­ber 7 to Septem­ber 12 : The par­ish will once again join the Dioce­san Pil­grim­age to Lour­des in Septem­ber. The fully in­clu­sive price is €19pps. El­der boys and girls in the Queen of Peace Ad­ven­ture Youth Club are now reg­u­larly clean­ing the club­house, en­joy­ing their own age re­lated so­cials, and plan­ning some events. Next item will be a trip to Dalkey Is­land. The club needs an­other ca­noe in­struc­tor for a cou­ple of hours on Tues­day evenings. Any­one in­ter­ested please con­tact Al­bert at 087 6756439. He will be de­lighted to hear from you.


Bray Divers had a fan­tas­tic week­end at St John’s Point in Done­gal. Five ex­cel­lent dives were or­gan­ised with depths rang­ing down to 20-five me­tres. Snorkel­ers were Cor­mac, Max, and Ethan. Scuba divers in­cluded Stephen, David, Al­bert, Louis, Bren­dan, Sharon, Ann, Jonathan and the two Jacks. Div­ing con­di­tions were very good and the group spent time ob­serv­ing a group of 30 Red Mul­lets. Thanks to Cor­mac who ar­ranged a bar­be­cue for all. Next club trip will be to Hook Head in Wex­ford.

The next event for mem­bers of the Bray Cualann His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety, the lo­cal his­tory so­ci­ety for Bray and North Wick­low, are in­vited to a spe­cial event this Sun­day morn­ing at 12.30 p.m. at which Dún Laoghaire-Rath­down County Coun­cil will be host­ing a spe­cial 1916 Cen­te­nary Com­mem­o­ra­tive com­mem­o­ra­tive event in Deans­grange Ceme­tery. The Cer­e­mony in­cludes an Ogh­laigh na hEire­ann colour party and the un­veil­ing of a spe­cially com­mis­sioned sculp­ture by artist Thomas Glen­don.

Mem­bers are also in­vited to Sun­day af­ter­noon’s 3 p.m. free 45-minute ‘Pro­claim­ing a Repub­lic’ Pub­lic Tour of the ‘Pro­claim­ing a Repub­lic: The 1916 Ris­ing’ ex­hi­bi­tion look­ing at some of the Mu­seum’s ex­ten­sive Easter Week col­lec­tion, in the Mu­seum of Dec­o­ra­tive Arts and His­tory, Collins Bar­racks, Ben­burb Street, Dublin 7. No book­ing re­quired – places al­lo­cated on first-come ba­sis 15 min­utes be­fore the tour starts.
