‘Dead Man’s Cell Phone’ play
THE Dalkey Players will present their entry to the RTE All-Ireland Drama Festival Circuit 2017, ‘Dead Man’s Cell Phone’, next month.
Featuring a number of cast members from Bray, the play will be on in Dalkey Town Hall from Wednesday, February 22, until Friday, February 24, at 8 p.m.
Dead Man’s Cell Phone, written by Sarah Ruhl and directed by Emma Jane Nulty, explores the paradox of modern technology’s ability to both unite and isolate people in the digital age. This play is a moving and funny exploration of how, in the midst of our fragile lives, technology can both unite and isolate us, especially in our quest for true love.
