En­rol­ment for ju­nior in­fants Septem­ber 2017 takes place on Mon­day and Tues­day, Fe­bru­ary 6 and 7 from 9.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. please bring a copy of your childs birth cer­tifi­cate.

KIDS ART CLASSES

GYMBOREE

Gymboree Play and mu­sic con­tin­ues on Tues­day morn­ings at 11 a.m. in Gle­nealy vil­lage hall, come along and en­joy an hour of mu­sic through songs, dance, games, mu­si­cal in­stru­ments and fun. Suit­able for all ba­bies, tod­dlers and pre school chil­dren from six months – four years. Book­ing is es­sen­tial as places are lim­ited. The Satur­days playgroup meet in Gle­nealy Vil­lage Hall ev­ery Satur­day morn­ing from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Fun play for pre school chil­dren and up. Cost €3 per fam­ily.

IN­TRO­DUC­TION TO DIG­I­TAL FILM MAK­ING – This fun and cre­ative QQi ac­cred­ited course where par­tic­i­pants will gain hands on ex­pe­ri­ence in var­i­ous as­pects of film­mak­ing: Script­ing, ligh­t­img, set – de­sign, make – up for film, Cam­era, Au­dio, Act­ing on screen, Edit­ing, Sto­ry­board­ing and how to make a short film. HARD LAND­SCAP­ING SKILLS FPR HORTICULTURE/GAR­DEN­ING – Ideal op­por­tu­nity of a funded train­ing npro­gramme aimed at in­di­vid­u­als with an in­ter­est in gain­ing a recog­nised qual­i­fi­ca­tion and em­ploy­ment in horticulture. Par­tic­i­pants will learne a range of con­struc­tion skills, and con­struct el­e­ments of hard land­scap­ing such as build­ing walls, con­struct­ing flat land­scap­ing fea­tures, car­pen­try as well as the use of a range of tools and equip­ment as­so­ci­ated with con­struc­tion. this is a two-day a week part time QQI level four train­ing course. Round­wood and District Com­mu­nity Coun­cil with the sup­port of Kil­dare Wick­low Ed­u­ca­tion Train­ing Board are run­ning an eight-week art class in Round­wood Parish Hall start­ing in early Fe­bru­ary. There are a lim­ited num­ber of places avail­able. Places must be booked in ad­vance. If you are in­ter­ested please call 0404 64050 or 086 0499149. There was no jack­pot win­ner in last week’s lotto draw. The num­bers drawn were 1, 7, 24 and 26. There were three matchthree win­ners, Breda Cough­lan, Mary Doyle and Ray Clavic. Next week’s jack­pot will be €10,600.

Pic­tured at the ta­ble quiz fundraiser in aid of the Kil­mac CFR Pub­lic De­fib­ril­la­tor at the Grove Pub were Mags Tay­lor, Joe Whe­lan, Des Car­roll and Liam Tay­lor whose team claimed third prize on the night.
