Registration Day will take place this Saturday, February 11, in the Pamela Scott unit in Bridgewater Shopping Centre from 10am to 2pm.
Club gear will be available to purchase on the day. This year we are introducing our new Subs App, this will allow members to pay by card or cash at registration day and then at the pitch when training.
Also, this year we are running a discount system, if you pay your full year’s subs by the May 1 you will get 10 training sessions free.
This is an option available to all members. If prefered we will still take the weekly sub from members who do not wish to pay the full amount up front. As our club house now has a bar licence we encourage our adults to avail of our social membership for €20 euro, and you can use the facility when it is open. This can also be hired for private events.
A receipt will be issued by email for all payments made, so please ensure your Team Admin has your email address. Any questions, please come along to Reg Day and talk to your Admin. Club officials will be available on the day to help with any queries. We look forward to seeing you all there.
AGB will host a Dinner Dance on February 25 to celebrate the great achievements and wins of the Ladies and Men’s teams during 2016. Breakaway will provide the music on the night. Tickets are now SOLD OUT. As there is stil huge interest in the event, a waiting list is now available, please contact Margot on 085 8624994, Jennifer on 0868833159, Sinead on 0871374812, with any queries. Thank you to all who have ordered their tickets, in order to work the waiting list can those who have ordered their tickets please contact the girls to arrange collection and payment by the February 11. The National Draw tickets are on sale at the moment at €10 each with super prizes to be won and, even better, all of the money raised stays within the club. If you would like to buy some tickets or feel you might be able to sell a book of five please contact any Club member. Can all sold tickets please be returned to Ray Menton.
AGB’s Ballymoney Committee will host a traditional night of Irish music and dancing on March 16 in the AGB Clubhouse, Ballymoney, Shelton, Arklow as part of the St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations. Entry fee is €5, and a great night of ceoil agus craic is promised.
St. Patrick’s Day is on the horizon, Volunteers are being sought to help organise the AGB float and teams marching in the local parade. Please contact any member of the executive if you would like to help out.
