The Coffee Dock: Is open each morning Monday to Friday after 10 a.m. Mass and on Sundays after the 10.30 a.m. Mass. Tea, coffee, biscuits and occasionally cake is served. The Coffee Dock also offers a great source of community and friendship for people within the parish and outside the parish. We would like to extend a warm welcome to all. Come in for a chat and a cuppa and perhaps make new acquaintances while you are there.
Volunteers are needed to help in the Coffee Dock Monday to Friday mornings. The commitment is from 9.30 a.m. to approximately 11.30 a.m.. One morning every second week. Please phone Philippa at 087 1442969 if you think you can help.

World Day of the Sick 2017: The Dublin Diocesan Celebration of World Day of the Sick 2017 will take place this Saturday and Lourdes Pilgrimage – September 7 to September 12: The parish will once again join the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes in September. Lourdes 2017: Bookings for our parish pilgrimage to Lourdes are now being taken in the Villa and a Church Gate Collection will take place this weekend in aid of our Lourdes fund. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Bethany Bereavement: The Bethany Bereavement Support Group would like to thank everyone who contributed to their recent Church gate collection. A total of €675.25 was raised.
Perpetual Adoration: To promote and continue this wonderful gift of Perpetual Adoration in our parish, we are appealing for your help. If you can do one hour a week, please contact the Sacristy.
Prayer Cards: Prayer cards for the World Meeting of families are available at the back of the church for anyone who would like to take one.
Memorial Plates: It has been a long church tradition to have a plate fitted to a seat in memory of a loved one. Full details regarding such plates are available from the parish office. (€250 donation towards the running costs of our Church.)

QOP YOUTH CLUB
Queen of Peace Adventure Youth Club has had a very busy time so far this year. Two night time walks have been organised. One daytime and one night time mountain climbs have been enjoyed, along with football and swimming sessions.
Immediate future plans include a parents meeting night, and a talent competition. The club has a very dedicated 12 person team of leaders and committee mem- bers who are all unpaid committed voluntary workers.
Bray Divers welcome new member David McKeon. Dave is a well known antique bottle collector, and he hopes to extend his hobby into the underwater world. He expects to be a diver within the next few weeks, and following onwards he will endeavour to encourage other bottle collectors to join him.
Currently the club is running courses, and anyone who would like to learn to dive may get details by calling Albert at 087 6756439.

Last night (Tuesday) the first committee meeting of the new committee elected by members of the Bray Cualann Historical Society, the local history society for Bray and North Wicklow, at the recent January AGM took place at which the officer positions of the society were filled.
The February meeting of the Bray Cualann Historical Society will take place on February 16 at 8 p.m. in the Royal Hotel, Bray, at which James Scannell will reveal the remarkable story of ‘Captain Hermann Goertz: The German WW2 Gatherer, who landed in full military uniform.’ All welcome to attend. annual Membership of the Bray Cualann Historical Society is €15 and covers two Adults+2 Children, and can be taken out at any meeting of the society. Admission to lectures is €5 visitors – members free.
In the meantime members of the Bray Cualann Historical Society are invited to tonight’s (Wednesday) 6 p.m. meeting of the Old Dublin Society at which Ms. Ellen Murphy, Senior Archivist, will present her lecture ‘Dublin’s Sporting Heritage and the development of Dublin City Sport Archive’ in the Conference Room of Dublin City Library and Archive, 138 – 144 Pearse Street, Dublin 2.
