Creative kids make a splash

Bray People - - NEWS -

PROVING that, when it comes to art, nothing quite beats the imagination of kids, the inaugural Splash Of Colour art competition this week announced its four very talented winners.

Decided by public vote, with each entry based around the theme of a fish, Jack Finnegan’s Siamese Fighting Fish proved the most popular entry in the Kids 11 and Under section, whilst Lily Bellhouse’s clever map of Greystones landmarks won in the Kids 12-to-18 section.

A very honourable mention went to Kim Colgan and Amber Nic Giolla Chainnigh.

On hand to deliver the kids framed certs and to organise their prizes – including an annual pass to Tayto Park, a €150 One-For-All voucher, and family cinema passes – was Gordon O’Neill from sponsors goldfish.ie, a Greystones communications tech company.
