Jamie can pull the perfect pint

Bray People - - NEWS -

JAMIE Elliot of Delgany Golf Club has been announced the winner of this year’s ‘Greystones’ Perfect Pint’ competition.

Having been won last year by Sharyn Conroy of The Beach House, this public vote competition proved a near-runaway success for newcomer Jamie Elliot, barman at Delgany Golf Club.

Pint-lovers from across the district logged on to Greystonesguide.ie in their droves to vote for Jamie.

He served his first pint there at the tender age of 16, and Jamie has now been behind the bar at Delgany Golf Club for 20 years.

Which may explain why so many people reckon he pulls the best pint in the Greystones Municipal District. And beyond.

In the end, Jamie got more votes than all his rivals combined, setting himself up for a serious shot at next year’s title.

Voters said that the barman always provides ‘service with a smile’.

‘Jamie is a great barman,’ said one voter. ‘He is efficient, hard working and really has the reputation of Delgany Golf Club at heart. Delgany has a name for being a friendly, welcoming club, thanks in no small measure to Jamie’s attitude and personality. Being a Guinness drinker myself, a good pint is essential in any establishment I frequent. JHe passes the test with flying colours.’

Jamie Elliott.
