New dog fouling initiative

Bray People - - NEWS -

GREYSTONES Tidy Towns will launch its anti dog-fouling campaign next week.

The ‘Green Dog Walkers’ campaign will be launched on Saturday, February 18. The programme is a new initiative in the fight against dog litter and is a positive, friendly way to change attitudes about dog fouling. The aim is to make people conscious of the fact that it is not OK to allow dogs to foul nor is it OK to hang dog litter bags on railings, shrubs etc. Dog litter bags can be placed in any rubbish bin and there are numerous bins around the town. There will be stands with information on becoming a Green Dog Walker situated around the town and details of where they will be can be found on the Greystones Tidy Towns website.

Tidy Towns would like as many people as possible to get involved. For more information, go to the Greystones Tidy Towns website or Facebook page. Greystones Tidy Towns can be contacted via the Facebook page or email mariet
