Con­grat­u­la­tions to Aoife Darcy, Shauna Keogh, and Maire Do­ran who were pre­sented with their Leinster Ju­nior Cham­pi­onship medals re­cently at the Wicklow Camogie County Board’s pre­sen­ta­tion evening in Law­less’ Ho­tel, Aughrim.

The trio were on the panel which saw off Louth’s chal­lenge in the Ju­nior Cham­pi­onship fi­nal last June, with Shauna play­ing a piv­otal role in the fi­nal in Aughrim. The three play­ers are back with the County ju­nior panel again this year which will be par­tic­i­pat­ing in the Leinster Ju­nior Cham­pi­onship in May and the All-Ire­land Premier Ju­nior Cham­pi­onship in July.

Mean­while, the U-14s will be host­ing a Feile na nGael team in the town in June. This also means that they will be par­tic­i­pat­ing in Feile which is be­ing held in the neigh­bour­ing coun­ties of Car­low, Wex­ford, and Kilkenny.

The Se­nior team will be re­sum­ing train­ing this month. Their group in the county com­pe­ti­tion in­cludes Ballinacor, Donard-Glen, Knock­ananna, and Gle­nealy.

Train­ers for the com­ing year are: Se­nior, James Do­ran; U-16s, Sab­rina Ka­vanagh, Maura Far­rell; U-14s, Ja­son Mol­loy, Vin­nie Mul­roe, Nuala Dagge; U-12s, Paul Kelly, John Kennedy, Vicki Mul­hall; U-10s, Tom Darcy, Diar­muid Do­ran, Miriam Wafer; U-8s Ja­son Mol­loy, De­nis Dee­gan, John Doyle, and a fe­male par­ent to be ar­ranged.
