Le­in­ster rugby team to train in Ark­low

THE Le­in­ster Rugby Team is com­ing to Ark­low Rugby Club to hold the first open train­ing ses­sion of the 2017/18 sea­son on Tues­day, Au­gust 1 mark­ing the launch of the new club pitch.

This event is the cul­mi­na­tion of the pitch cor­rec­tive works that be­gan in 2016 and sees the launch of the new pitch on the same day.

Af­ter a short open­ing cer­e­mony, The Le­in­ster team will train on the new sur­face and re­main at the ground for pho­tos and au­to­graphs af­ter­wards.

The Le­in­ster Team will be on the pitch from 12.15 p.m. and will train for 90 min­utes, af­ter which they will re­main on the pitch to sign au­to­graphs for one hour.

The event is free to at­tend and open to all so peo­ple are ad­vised to come early to get a good view. The club will be open from 11 a.m. This will be a unique oc­ca­sion for fans to come and see some of the coun­try’s best play­ers be put through their paces on your own doorstep.
