THE Roundwood Festival will take place from Wednesday, August 2, through to Sunday, August 6, this year.

This year the festival will kick off with a guided walk at the Vartry Water Works on the Wednesday evening and will end with the hugely popular Roundwood Street Festival on the closing Sunday.

There’s something for every taste with music sessions and side shows including hands on craft exhibitions, family attractions, historical walks and a soap box derby.

A huge attraction each year, Thursday, August 3, sees the return of the Roundwood FunTeam Challenge.

There will also be a variety concert in Laurence O’Toole’s Parish Church.

The full programme for the festival is now available and any updates can be found at the Round facebook page.
