Teenager is ar­rested af­ter break-ins to around thirty cars in Grey­stones

A TEENAGER has ar­rested fol­low­ing break-ins to around 30 cars and the at­tempted rob­bery of a jew­ellery store in Grey­stones last week.

A boy was ar­rested at the scene of the at­tempted break-in at AMOC jew­ellers on the main street and is ex­pected to ap­pear be­fore the courts.

Cars were bro­ken into in The Burn­aby, Hill­side and Heathervue. Any valu­ables left in the ve­hi­cles were taken.

This all oc­curred late on Mon­day, Septem­ber 4, and early on Tues­day, Septem­ber 5.

Gardaí area ap­peal­ing for any­one to come for­ward who may have seen any­one act­ing sus­pi­ciously around the town dur­ing those hours.

Garda De­clan Lynch of Bray Garda Sta­tion urged peo­ple to avoid leav­ing valu­ables in their ve­hi­cles.

Sep­a­rately, the win­dow of a car parked at Charles­land was smashed on Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 6.
