Craft fair at Open Door day cen­tre

The an­nual craft fair took place at Open Door Day Cen­tre on Ve­vay Road re­cently, with plenty of fan­tas­tic wares to choose from.

There was an ar­ray of stands at the cen­tre on the day.

They in­cluded a wealth of stock, dis­play­ing the tal­ents of those con­tribut­ing to the fare.

The day in­cluded pho­tog­ra­phy, knit­ware, jew­ellery, home­made jams and pre­serves and soaps.

There were also an­i­mal groom­ing prod­ucts, ce­ram­ics, wood­work, sea­sonal gifts and var­i­ous other crafts.

No­body at­tend­ing went hun­gry. There were or­ganic burg­ers, gluten free op­tions and tea and cof­fee avail­able.

Pro­ceeds on the day went to Open Door. Open Door is a day cen­tre with fa­cil­i­ties and ac­tiv­i­ties for adults with phys­i­cal dis­abil­i­ties.

Ac­tiv­i­ties in­clude art, mu­sic, phys­io­ther­apy, wood­work, com­put­ers and ce­ram­ics.
