A man who was driving over the limit was banned for three years and fined €350.
Tudor Bezer. (30), with an address 40 Monastery, Heath Avenue, Clondalkin, appeared last Thursday at Bray District Court.
The court heard that gardai were on patrol on Putland Road on May 28, 2017.
They saw a vehicle drive by at speed. When they spoke to the driver he was slumped in the driver’s seat and there was a spell of drink.
He was found to have 70 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
The court heard that the Moldovan man has been in Ireland for six years. He lives in Clondalkin and works in Parkwest. He has no previous convictions.
