GETTING INTO THE GROOVE AT KILLRUDDERY
STAGE TIMES have been released for this weekend’s Groove festival at Killruddery House and Gardens.
On Saturday, July 7, headliners Fun Lovin’ Criminals will be on from 9 p.m. until 10.30 p.m.
Earlier in the day, acts include State Lights at 1.30 p.m., Brave Giant at 2.45 p.m., Mack Fleetwood at 4.15, Something happens at 5.45 and The Riptide Movement at 7.15 p.m.
On Sunday, July 8, The Stunning headline from 9 p.m. Before that, Fallen Lights play at 2.45 p.m., Kila at 4.15, HamsandwicH at 5.45, and Heather Small at 7.30 p.m.
All weekend, the Sony Xperia Stage will have live music from 3 p.m. until after 8 p.m., and the Groove Live Lounge will bring ‘Culture Vultures’ from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., and Hardy Har Comedy Club from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
On Saturday’s Sony Xperia Stage, it’s Bodies at 3 p.m., Montaul Hotel at 4 p.m., Birds of Olympus at 5, Jerry Fish at 6, REWS at 7 and Bitch Falcon at 8 p.m.
On Sunday, it’s Skywriter at 3, Mark Geary at 4, The Weed Burning Savages at 5, After the Ibis at 5, Marc O’Reilly at 7 and The Eskies at 8.
For ‘Little Groovers’ there’s the Magical Mystery Tent, arts and crafts and balloon modelling, puppet theatres, giant bubbles and more.
Entertainment starts on Saturday at 12 with the Magical Mystery Funky Disco, the circus pirate show at 1, magic show at 2, puppet show at 3, juggling at 4, and more magic at 5 p.m.
The programme for children is the same the following day. There will also be plenty of food, and hopefully sunshine, for this year’s Groove.
