Train­ing course to help lo­cal firms drive traf­fic to web­site

A COURSE on how to in­crease traf­fic to your web­site takes place at Ark­low Busi­ness En­ter­prise Cen­tre this Thurs­day, Oc­to­ber 11.

The I.T. train­ing course has been ar­ranged by Lo­cal En­ter­prise Of­fice Wick­low.

Hav­ing a web­site that ranks high on in­ter­net search en­gines is im­per­a­tive for small busi­nesses.

This course will demon­strate how to use search en­gine op­ti­mi­sa­tion (SEO) to drive cus­tomers to your web­site. Both free list­ing tech­niques and pay-per-click list­ings will be cov­ered.

There will also be a brief in­tro­duc­tion to Google An­a­lyt­ics and the use of meta tags.

This is a vi­tal course for any­one that is about or has in­vested in a web­site, yet doesn’t feel they are gen­er­at­ing enough traf­fic to it.

The course runs from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and costs €60. The trainer will be Dor­cas Réa­monn, Ta­lent­pool Ltd.

The course is suit­able for peo­ple with some ex­pe­ri­ence of at­tempt­ing a pay per-click ap­pli­ca­tion such as Google ad­words, and fa­mil­iar­ity with the con­cepts of or­ganic SEO/megatags would be highly ad­vis­able.
