Victor’s head shave raises over €4,000
EVERYONE at Greystones Cancer Support is very grateful to Victor Evans for raising over €4,000 for the charity.
He presented the sum of €4,095 last week to Eileen Horan of Greystones Cancer Support.
The Kilcoole man had his head and beard shaved on Monday, May 4, in aid of Greystones Cancer Support.
The beard and hair have since grown back! ‘A huge thank you and well done to Victor for all of his hard work in fundraising for us,’ said Sonia Walsh, chairperson of Greystones Cancer Support.
‘And a big thank you to everyone who has supported Victor.
‘This is a fantastic result and we are so grateful to Victor,’ Sonia said.
Victor’s neighbours and friends were able to witness the spectacle of him getting shorn in the name of a good cause.
