School’s out soit’stime for fun summercamps

AFTER three months of homeshooling, children and parents alike are today looking forward to a new, new normal: namely summer and its many joys.

Summer means summer camps and thankfully many are taking place throughout Co Wicklow this year. Organised in a safe way, the summer camps will enable children to reconnect with their peers in a safe, friendly environment in which they can develop their social skills while also learning something new.

There is extensive evidence which points to the considerable benefits of play and activity for children and while at their local summer camp children make memories to last a lifetime.

Summer camps also provide a much needed break for parents, many of whom have been flat out between working from home, homeschooling and all the other fun stuff, like cooking, cleaning etc.
