Melissa McCarthy has become one of the biggest names in comedy since her stand out role in 2011’s Bridesmaids and she’s now about to capitalise on that success with her own personal project. Tammy is written by McCarthy and her husband Ben Falcone, with her hubby also taking on directing duties. It’s clear the film is very close to her heart but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be lacking in
the comedy department. The story is about a woman who has totalled her car, lost her job and doesn’t know what to do with her life. So when her aging grandmother (the great Susan Sarandon) suggests a road trip to Niagawra Falls, Tammy decides to go along. Laughs and drama are expected.
