A host of events will take place in Drogheda to cel­e­brate Pos­i­tive Ag­ing Week in Septem­ber.

On Mon­day, Septem­ber 25th the Mon­day Morn­ing Club will take place on May­oralty Street from 10.30am to 12.30pm and on the same day there will be cro­chet classes in the Drogheda and District Sup­port 4 Older Peo­ple Of­fices at7 The Hay­mar­ket from 2pm to 4pm and the cost is € 3.

On Tues­day, Septem­ber 26th there will be a day trip to Car­ling­ford leav­ing at 10am to in­clude The Omeath-War­ren­point Ferry Trip at a cost of € 10.

On Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 27th there will be ‘Back to the Fu­ture’ - Older Peo­ple to Visit the Younger Chil­dren at Step­ping Stones Com­mu­nity Crèche Drogheda for Story Telling and Knit­ting Lessons at 10.30am.

Thurs­day, Septem­ber 28th will be Bingo at Bru, The Hay­mar­ket from 2.3opm to 5pm and on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 1st there will be Mass in the Au­gus­tinian Church, Shop Street at 1.15pm fol­lowed by the an­nual Tea Dance in the West­court Ho­tel from 3pm to 6.30pm.
